Neuroptimal And Alzheimer’s
Experience with Alzheimer’s clients
Alzheimer’s disease is characterized by the loss of neurons and synapses in the cerebral cortex and certain subcortical regions. A summary of research titled “Experiences with Alzheimer’s Clients From Referring Hospitals in France” found that “The Neurofeedback Training Program significantly improved patients’ scores on the Ekman 60 Faces Test within only 6 sessions.” The Ekman 60 Faces Test is a test of how well a person recognizes basic facial emotions, and is a common diagnostic test for frontotemporal dementia.
Neuroptimal’s Effects On Clients With Alzheimer’s
NeurOptimal has been known to have a positive effect on those with Alzheimer’s disease. A report summarizing research, titled “Effects of NeurOptimalTraining on Alzheimer’s Disease: Report on an ongoing research in France,” found that there were “[a]stonishing improvements in patients suffering from this disease as shown in the 2012 Zengar Seminar.” Functional improvements were reported by spouses at the end of the program, and their anxiety decreased significantly.
